As soon as we arrived, the very first cat to greet me was a frail little grey girl, covered in scabs and sores. Her skin was red and raw in patches, her eyes squinting and irritated, and her coat was patchy with mange. Hanging from her belly were two large masses.

May May—a tiny, scared senior girl, alone and confused on the street. What’s worse, I learned she had already been given away at least once before. Now she was dumped again, left to fend for herself after years indoors. To see an old cat like her, tossed aside over and over, was just heartbreaking.

He was barely hanging on. His body was covered in mange, his eyes so crusted from the mange and infection that he couldn’t even see. One of the caretakers messaged me immediately. “Hey Brittany, I desperately need your assistance. There’s a cat I’ve never seen before just showed up it’s in bad shape.” I told her to set the trap right away—I’ll be on my way.

  • TNVR Trappers: Help trap cats humanely for spay/neuter and vaccination, with training provided by our team.

  • Transporters: Drive cats to and from veterinary appointments, ensuring they receive timely care.

  • Community Educators: Lead or assist with workshops to teach others about TNVR and its benefits.

  • Event Support: Help at fundraising events, community outreach, or tabling to promote our mission.
